7 best bars in Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hah! Didn't notice that place or picture in the list (site is really bad for mobile). I actually know those two girls, haha.

I know the one on the right. She is a very nice young lady and serves a very well poured drink.

Rule #1 for enjoying life: never publicise (pun) your favourite bar on the internet. It will change. This applies moreso in Cambodia than anywhere else.

I agree, nor your favourite hotel.

Also your favourite brothel village; it was the internet that killed k11 and sophies as well I believe. (Not that I ever went there, mind you just saying what the internet can do to some places).

I don't think anyone will miss K11 except paedos/sickos, no loss and a big gain for children's rights.

Never went to Sophie's so can't judge, nor Mikado.

After more than 10 years, I still haven't made it to Sharky's.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Ahh Mikado, there should be a brass plaque. I had a look at The Library Bar when it opened. It had the shittiest collection of airport novel trash I had ever seen. They could have gone to Bohrs or Boston and got some great books.
Still who goes to a bar to read a book, that's what libraries are for.
