April = fukn hot
May = fukn hot
June = fukn hot
On the beaches though, it's just bloody hot!
Depends on where you are coming from really and how quickly you can acclimatise.

From UK will be a shock. What is it like atmosphere wise? Will it be busy all 3 months?
You see, got 3 months for Laos, Viet, Cambo. Trying to plan best route:)

I'm just talking S/ville, but, no, it will be busy for Khmer NY and then dead afterwards.
BTW, by "dead" I mean fuk all tourists, so its actually a great time of year to be here. Great weather ( but bloody hot!) and the town functions as usual. Just not so good if you are a business owner that relies on tourism for your livliehood.

Yeah, speaking as a non-business owner who lives in the past all the geriatric fuckwits fuck off back to the West and stop trying to turn SHV into Goa.Hotdigr wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2017 10:31 pm I'm just talking S/ville, but, no, it will be busy for Khmer NY and then dead afterwards.

is hot, but not as hot as the rest of the county, SHV is the only bearable place but still expect temps close to 40'c, the provinces last year were 45'c
as for atmosphere, after Khmer new year (will be busy) it gets very quiet, not good for atmosphere but still beneficial depending on your purpose

Kampot gets a good breeze off the shore and rivers
Kep gets a good breeze as well
its not only SHV that is bearable

but theres even less to do in Kampot and Kep than there is is in SHV that time of year, or any time of year tbh, Kampot + Kep is good for a long weekend, any more than that then its boringphuketrichard wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2017 12:30 pm Kampot gets a good breeze off the shore and rivers
