Unidentified mummified body found: Sihanoukville

The unidentified body of a man was discovered on 5 Feburary 2017, reportedly under (or near) a bungalow at Kambuja Crossroads, owned by Chen Sophat, located at village 4, sanghat 4.

Experts have concluded that the deceased had committed suicide by hanging. The body was found in a mummified state, but an estimated date of the actual death has not been reported. Police continue to search for the identity of the deceased.

has the body acutally been mummified or is it just a decomposed corpse? he still has his shorts on...

Mummified can also mean dried or shriveled up, so I think it means this here.

Just means it's dried up.

edit: beaten, while I considered asking why you would think a corpse would remove its shorts.

ah i didnt realise mummification could also mean by natural causes i thought it was intentional
hence why i mentioned the shorts lol mummified him then put his shorts back on lol

how the hell does the body gets mummified here in this humidity? and tons of insects, maggots, dogs, rats :shock:

That's a good point actually, you would think that surely the stray animals would have got hold of the body at some point?
