Official guide to being a tight arse in Siem Reap

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Unless you're a Cambodian 40kg woman it might fill you.
I shared all my meals with my missus. I was quite full. Cheap, tasty, large quantities. And I'm definitely no where remotely near 40 kg. Over the double digits.

Yeah, that's fascinating. Is there some reason you think anyone gives a fuck what you do with your missus?

Just outside of SR is a lotus seed farm. Restaurant is spread out among thatch huts on the water. Just go into a hut and start ordering. Ordered 6 dishes, plus two baskets of drinks (refilled the basket). The four of us were full and had to take 2 dishes home. Around $10-$20.

The feeling of lying in a hammock underneath a thatched roof, feeling the breeze from the water, all the while having a pretty girl by your side, priceless.

Patong is NOT the norm for the island
I have not been out there at night in 5 or 6 years
of coarse, i was quite new to thailand when i went, went to my very first gogo bar there
but i just saw it as plastic thailand and a little copy of pattaya, i think its probs why it took me a few years to go there (until i realised what i had been missing out on  )
it was also expensive paying 100baht for a small chang in tiger tiger

I remember there being carnival games in nightclubs where you would pay X baht for a few wet sponges and try to make a ladyboy drop into a tank.

Not very precise coming from a tight arse. A huge difference between $ 10 and $20.....

This restaurant is past the airport? More like $20 then.

Remember people western goods are best bought in bulk, 48 bucks for a big block of cheese is not out of the norm.
