Sisowath coffee shop/brothel raided by police.
Shop owner nabbed on prostitution charge
Friday, 06 January 2017
The owner of a massage and coffee shop in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district was arrested yesterday for allegedly running a prostitution ring through her shop.
Police officer Sok Chenda said the suspect was 36-year-old Vy Sreyoun, the owner of the Coffee Sreymom Shop on Sisowath Quay in Srah Chak commune.
Ms. Sreyoun was arrested by the Interior Ministry’s anti-human trafficking and juvenile protection police after a raid on her shop.
Police said three of the masseuses were having sex with clients when police arrived on Monday night.
They found four women aged between 18 and 21 and confiscated condoms, both used and unused, from their rooms.
“She was charged by the court with procurement of prostitution under article 26 of the Law on the Suppression of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation,” he said.
She is now being held in Prey Sar prison and faces up to five years in jail if convicted.
The four masseuses spoke to police and signed a contract promising not to engage in prostitution again before they were released.

They confiscated "used condoms?". That job couldn't pay enough. Wouldn't a photo be enough?
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
