They will take pictures of everything they aren't familiar with. I remember a case when the defendant had to prove some white powder in its original packaging was cake flour indeed.

While I have no sympathy for this spastic;

Does anybody know the legality of traffic police stop and searches?

Personally, I have never been stopped and searched. Been stopped, sure, to check documents etc - but never asked to submit to a search. If I am in future, my inclination would be to refuse. Do traffic police( or any others) have the legal right to personal searches/shakedowns?

Well, in my time here, I have found that being aware of ones rights, and being able to explain in Khmer why they are your rights usually leads to them being respected. Just the same as any other place in the world.

Who would have thought it?
