Triggerhappy son arrested for karaoke shooting.
A lot of shootings in the news lately. Seems like every little bad boy is tooled up.
A man arrested yesterday for allegedly threatening to shoot his mother has been linked to the shooting of a Karaoke parlor security guard in June.
Tuol Kork district police officer Suon Kimlong named the accused man as phone technician Hy Bora, also known as Ra, 29.
“He was an ungrateful son,” Mr. Kimlong said. “He got angry with his mother for not giving him the money for drugs he demanded.
“He then destroyed property in the house and pointed the gun at his mother and threatened to kill her,” he said. “He was arrested based on his mother’s complaint.”
After the incident on Monday, police said they seized an unlicensed K-59 pistol with four rounds of ammunition from Mr. Bora
After questioning and further investigation, police found that he was also linked to the shooting of a security guard at the VIP Karaoke Shop in Takeo province’s Daun Keo city...

Re: Triggerhappy son arrested for karaoke shooting.
The guard's name was Roy Baraing, a likely story. Do those K59s hold seven rounds, so after shooting Roy he only had four left? Is it difficult to buy ammo?

At Teuk Thla Market, soldiers, police, and criminals alike haggle over state-owned gear, much of it believed funnelled there by high-ranking officials...
Was true in 2014 & still true today. Anything you want is there.
