A Fun-Filled Flight on a Budget Airline

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

A Fun-Filled Flight on a Budget Airline

Post by mammothboy2 »

This would have been a holiday flight to remember

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... renzy.html

Two(?) Home Office personnel accompanied the deportee. Any ideas on how much this all cost?

Even so, that would have been a super-saver flight compared to the Youkay governments decision to send a
chartered executive jet to the Caribbean to fetch an Ethiopian (formerly a British resident) from his
incarceration in Cuba.

A little fist to mouth therapy might have helped quite thing down. Better yet send them baggage class like a dog/pet gets. They want to act like animals, treat them like animals.

Yeah, but then they die of asphyxiation and the other passengers complain to the Daily mail. You can't win.

Australians who have stood up, or even just voiced their uneasiness with the way asylum-seekers have been man-handled on a flight, have been given no-fly bans within Australia. Well done Australia for your support for freedom of expression. What's the point of being an Australian citizen if they treat you like you are an asylum-seeker ? Frankly...

Paul Leary, 51, and his female colleague were not involved in the protest but said they felt 'uncomfortable' upon learning of Puvaneethan's deportation.

Mr Leary said he and a colleague felt faced with a 'moral dilemma.' After his female colleague decided she was not comfortable being on the plane Mr Leary also decided not to fly.

'We couldn't have been politer. We were travelling for business, we've both got executive roles in the organisation we work for… we were not aggravating or inciting other people,' Mr Leary told Daily Mail Australia...

It wasn't until Mr Leary was returning from Darwin four days later after catching a flight with a different airline that he attempted to return to Melbourne with Qantas and was told he was subject to a no-fly ban.

'As a result of your actions on board QF838 from MELDRW on 2nd February, we have decided to issue you a No Fly Notification - Until Further Notice while the incident is investigated,' Qantas wrote.

As I understand it, the point is that you are in the same position as Saffers.

You are supposed to support the effwit corrupt morons that run your country into the ground/ sell it to Asians.
