Why I Quit Teaching English in Cambodia (Sean Chance Heads Home)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Why I Quit Teaching English in Cambodia (Sean Chance Heads Home)

Post by General Mackevili »

I can't watch this dude. He needs to open his fucking eyes or something. He also says English teachers are the richest in the country, making $1,100 a month.

"Some people may not be able to adjust to the lack of infrastructure. But if you are a teacher, you are the richest person in the country and can buy or do whatever you want. My rent = $70. Food per day = $2/day"

"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

Are YouTube channels the new thing for self-absorbed twats who have nothing especially smart to say or contribute to this world? I thought they'd stick to Instagram or Twitter, at least those take less bandwidth.

Yes, BKL ...

And for home movies of quite splendidly witless silliness

A woman writing in Grauniad claimed that the "Joker Mommy" video has been seen by over 3 million viewers.
