New in Phnom Penh - Looking for shared apartment

Post by angus.smith93 »

Hey everyone,

I just arrived in Phnom Penh to start a five month exchange programme at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to find a nice shared apartment, ideally with other expats, somewhere fun and social?

Also, any advice regarding meeting other expats to get to know some people!

Any advice is appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Angus

Good advice, Timmy.

(I moved this topic to Ask the Expats, as it seemed more fitting than in the Nightlife Section.) :hattip:

Yeah I belong to a few of those, but PPHousing seems to have the most share places listed, that I've noticed.

I don't get why any adult would want to share an apartment when rents are so cheap here.

But you don't get any free-bees when you live by yourself. [ Just speaking from my experience of sharing with female flatmates ]

I suppose if you're 20-something and travelling to a foreign country (possibly for the first time) then it would make it easier.
