Another Chinese Tourist Donates His Gold to The Thai Ecomony.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

At the scene in front of Patrol rest area, Mr. Jonsun Ryu, 28 years Korean Engineer in rage saying that while he was riding on motorcycle taxi, there was a teenager snatched his gold necklace worth Bht. 30,000 and drove away. He was trying to run after the man but not success. He would like the man to be arrested so that he would stop commit more crimes.
Repeat the scenario but with an Indian victim...
Later on, another victim, Mr. Vishnubhai Juthabhai, 45 years had made a statement that he was approached and grabbed by ladyboy. While he was unaware, the thief had taken his Bht 75,000 gold necklace. Incident took place in Soi Pattaya 13/2 (Chaihaad)

got some more of the 'quality pointing' going on here too!
(One of the things Thailand is known for)

as for the gold, doing the math says the guy must have been wearing more than a couple oz.s of Au.
just vanity is all.....
BTW, while you do see rednecks (both m&f) often wearing chains and such, good chance it's just pot metal.
all their money goes to puttin' fancy wheels on the pick up and decorating the trailor!
