Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. I went to both Preah Vihear and Koh Ker temples. They are worth to visit. If i have time i can write reports.

I am planning to visit the areas around the big lake and i am reading people blogs about their trips down there.

I have been to Rathanakiri since i was young, i guess it is almost 10 years since then. It is a great place to visit, not to mention the lake. If you like swimming you will enjoy your time down there. At that time, some tribal people were still topless. To be honest, i am planning to visit there again. I couldn't remember how long did it take us to get there, but it was a really long ride as it was dirt road.

If you haven't been to Battambang, i would suggest that one. I am also planning to visit Pailin province. The more i read about it the more i want to see it.

even for private room, it is still way too cheap down there. I paid 6 dollar for two beds room.

i think you can take boat from Siem Reap to Battambang, but not sure about motorbike. Last time i asked it was 21 or 29 dollar (not really sure) for foreigner and 17 dollars for Cambodian.
