They seem to be mostly disgruntled "punk rock" kids. I must admit that I used to be one of these. A long time ago. I thought that marches and protests would change the world. The last one I went to was in 2003 in London, we were protesting against the impending invasion of Iraq. At least one million people attended. Tony Blair complained about it, he said he couldn't believe how so many people could be so wrong. I worked in the center of London and there were a lot of protests over the years. I never liked when they got nasty and people started destroying property. It's good for people to be able to express their woes, but not so good when they start burning down their own neighborhood.
