Importing exotic animals

Post by rustyfox »

Hi everybody.

I'm not yet living in Cambodia, currently living in the Philippines.

After a quick look through the forum I've seen similar questions, but not found any answer to how to go about importing.

Can anybody tell me for sure whether it is currently possible to import exotics (i.e. not native) and if so what procedures are involved? I'm not talking cats and dogs, but for example servals (an African cat about 50% larger than a domestic cat) and caracals (a little larger again); uncommon chicken breeds not currently found in Cambodia; pigeons (for racing); and meat rabbits e.g. New Zealand breed or Californian breed.

Many thanks,
Rusty

Anyone keeping Servals or Caracals as pets is a right moron IMHO.
