Western women caught shoplifting on CCTV. (Video)
Two foreign women have come under fire after video showing one of them stealing an outfit from a beachfront shop in Krabi went viral online.
The clip shows two tourists looking at clothes at the shop on Ao Nang beach. One of them takes a white lace outfit from a hanger, rolls it up and places it in a black umbrella as the other looks on.
The message accompanying the clip said: “I am the owner of the clothing shop on Ao Nang in Krabi who just moved from Bangkok. I have run the shop for four months and the business has been going smoothly.
"However, there are lots of foreign thieves and many shops fall victim to them every day. Police were alerted, surveillance cameras have captured images of thieves, even their tattoos. However, the thieves have not yet been caught as people might think it was trivial.’’
The video of the incident, which happened on Jan 7, had attracted 443,075 views and many negative comments about thieves as of Saturday.
On her Facebook page, Netdao Wiwatratsamee, the owner of the shop, thanked those who shared the clip...

REALLY. Just what in the HELL do farang tourists in an island resort have to do with people in Isaan? And "billions" of baht? I see that and instantly think of Bangkok and the establishment types there starting at the lower end with the police. But that has nothing to do with tourists shoplifting. Anyone with a brain knows that even the wealthy have shoplifters among them. Why do you lash out at Isaan? I notice you did not answer Luigi. I expect no answer but ask the question anyway. I'm guessing they were never caught. Probably moved on and hopped a flight home after doing this throughout their travels. Perhaps also filed false theft reports too?

Four British men were caught thieving from a toy shop in Koh Samui when they were filmed in action by a CCTV. They were also charged with using a fake credit card to pay a food and drink bill.
SURAT THANI - Four British nationals have been arrested and charged with the theft of goods worth about 50,000 baht from a toy shop on the tourist island of Koh Samui.
Police seized the four men at a seaside resort in tambon Bo Phud, in Koh Samui district, on Monday.
They also seized stolen items, including an aerial drone, a game disk, an iPhone charger and a radio-controlled car, worth about 50,000 baht in total, police said.
The goods were reported stolen from a toy shop in tambon Mae Nam around 9pm on Sunday by four men who fled in a white Fortuner car. They were filmed by a security camera inside the shop.
The four tourists admitted to having stolen the items, according to police, and were charged with theft.
They were identified as Chace Kylen Rudy, 21, Korri Nathaniel George, 27, Hilton Mhasvi, 20, and Saul James Ahmed, 20.
While police were still questioning them, an employee at another hotel arrived at the resort and accused the four tourists of failing to pay a food and drinks bill of 69,000 baht...

Idiots, coming over from the UK and think they can give it the large one in Thailand? That's a fair amount of money, over $3400. It's gonna cost them a hell of a lot more than that before they get out.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

They are exactly the kind of council estate young trash that anyone with half a brain would give a very wide berth to anywhere they were encountered. Obviously much harder for foreign business people and other non-Brits who can't recognise them on sight.
Incidentally, the vid in the OP is not available any longer? Or is it just me that can't see it.
