no, military never "goes away.".. haha...
they are turning the place upside down, and its "strategic" marginal changes... not some piss...
looks more, as if they plan to stay for quite a while...

on thailisa you can read how "shock" sounds.
the guys sound numb ... you can really read their shockwaves in the brain...
there is no argumentation, no if..when...but... as usual...
interesting.

Best comment on there:
and the use of ‘beer girls’ – are banned
use by who? sellers or drinkers?
Re: Thaland going mental regarding alcohol
Looks like only advertising of alcohol is being addressed, not sales or consumption. Much like tobacco in many parts of the world. What is the difference between a "beer girl" and a waitress? I guess the logo on her shirt. Nothing to worry about here.

Re: Thaland going mental regarding alcohol
this is huge;
There are so many places that make millions off of advertising. Any fair in Thailand uses "Beer girls" every event is sponsored, sports events, even outside malls iin Bangkok they use beer girls and promotions.
The government ( Read Army) has finally admitted what most of us have know for years, thai's cannot be responsible adults when it comes to drinking
logos on glasses, Banners, shirts..... wow
It cant be april 1st already, can it?

This would really affect tourism in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya. NO HAPPY HOUR? no serving alcohol after midnight? No drinking is allowed after midnight in bars or restaurants, even though sales have ended; no alcohol logos are allowed on glasses, ashtrays and other paraphernalia; and bars will not be allowed to display posters or bottles – even old ones – featuring such logos.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
