Well, apparently Cambodia doesn't have the worst of the net.

Phones, Internet, Computers and such.

I find the internet here better than in Thailand (and New Zealand).

I would think rural Cambodians would also have shitty Internet.

First Internet connection I got in Cambodia was a semi reliable adsl connection. 1mb/s and all for a bargain price of $400/month + VAT. By the time I left Cambodia I had a 4mb/s fiber connection for $250 a month. I thought that was great until I got connected again in Australia at 100mb/s+.

Cambodian Internet is getting better and certainly cheaper but it doesn't compare to 1st world countries.
