i just want to thank everyone for the support, i really appreciate it, fighting over here was a little harder than expected due to a number of factors....
1. i had no sparring partners so i couldnt get "ring fit"
2. only had 2 weeks to try and get fit for the fight/make weight
3. i literally hat 10 minutes from getting into my boxing gear to going into the ring, no chance to warm up?!
4. fighting in 8oz gloves at 75kg+ is just stupid! and not boxing (anything above 60kg is 10oz minimum)
5. the 2-3minute gap in between each round really does fuck you up, any advantage you got from the last round is lost, every round is basically the 1st round!

but other than that, i felt like we both traded some big shots against each other through the first 3 rounds, my fitness and stamina let me down, the knock down (which was the first in my 12 year career) came as a shock but it didnt have any lasting effect, once he popped my nose though while my fitness was already shot, i just lost my game completely, which has made me (drunkenly) question how much i actually have left in the tank anymore, maybe it was just a bad night at the office, but i was embarrassed the whole time i was in there, i felt slow, no sharpness, like a novice fighter due to the lack of prep,
but yeah thanks for the support everyone it means a lot :thumb:

Can't win them all, and I'm sure you have a bunch of more wins in you, just need a more ideal situation next time. Kind of hit the ground running for this one.

here's the thing, i have spoken to some fighters here that went up against the local thais;
they all said they same thing,
i shoulda trained harder, never expected that thai to have it in him.

Better luck next time

Good on you for having a go mate. You probably can't win 'em all but you did better than the rest of us. :-)

Here's a video of the full fight. Well, minus the whole first round.
