Re: famous places to hangout with girls at night time
By the way, I've 'discovered' a nice little bar near my apartment, The Golden Vine, 81 Street 108, open until 3 am. (late?) Anyone know it? Top bar. Drinks cold. Girls friendly and will leave you alone unless you want to hang out. Pool table large and well set. Bar staff don't cheat on tabs they ar...

Re: French support proposal to make it an offence to avoid housework
Do they really need to legislate that housework is the womans role?
Why should a lazy woman be convicted of a crime?
This is absolutely crazy.
Next thing you know they will legislate that women have a requirement to an orgasm from sex!

RIP Tony.
He was a friend. I had not seen him since he left Snooky. He had Tonys bar on st 130, formerly Kim's Kiwi Bar, before he moved to Snooky.

Re: Foreigner (known as 'Blue') Accused of Stabbing at Hometown Hangout in Phnom Penh
Is it common to come across foreigners in Cambodia who go by a nickname like this guy? "Blue" makes it seem he's a musician or some sort of entertainer. Everyone has a nickname! When you know a million guys called Dave, you have to be able to distinguish between then. I know Navy Dave, Ac...

Re: Canadian Expat KENNETH ROBERT McMORDIE Passed Away in Phnom Penh. RIP
I liked Ken. A good pool player, I played him many times. He used to play with Chris, a German guy. One night in 2017 I think, a mate and I played Ken and Chris many games at the Missing Monkey in SHV. It was a great night, giving each other sh1t and playing great pool. Chris died soon after. Ken wa...

Re: Australian PETER JAMES DOYLE Passed Away in Phnom Penh
Pete was a really nice guy.
He was a regular musician around PP, playing regularly at LoneStar, Botanico, Villa Grange and Ponytails to name a few places.
He was a good friend to many and a friend of mine.
Vale Pete.

Re: The Pub Bar
When I live in PP I eat at least a quarter of my meals at The Pub and have done so since before it moved to the new location. The small breakfast is perfect for me The Sunday Chicken Roast is huge, half a chicken plus veggies, with free beer for just $7.00, it does me for a couple of meals or I spli...
