Re: Khao San road thru the ages

I never got why anyone on holiday would want to watch videos of old episodes of Friends. Well, in the past Thailand used to cater for mainly long term backpackers, on the so called " banana pancakes trail". This usually meant travelling a certain route and eating the famous banana pancake...

Re: Is Kampot Town Turning into a Red Light District ?

Can somebody please take a video of this area near the market so that we can see what they're on about?

And as for kampot itself wasn't there talk about the Chinese building a load of high rises and the worry about it changing the whole vibe of the City?

Re: Phnom Pehn Current Vibe

It would be interesting to know what is going on in Phnom Penh right now I was looking at booking.com for the hotel section and there appears to be a lot less places advertised in booking.com as previously and the selection is not very good so I presume that some hotels are not operating as they onc...

Yet thinking about charging the Tourist to enter? I think one thing that confuses the Tourist no end, is the fact...

Re: double pricing Thailand

Looking at the Booking sites, the pre pandemic prices are currently being offered to Tourists. I don't see anything Cheap offered, just normal prices. At the end of the day Thailand does what it wants and the tourist just has to deal with it; it's always been the case in my experience and you know s...
