Re: At least 156 dead, hundreds injured in multiple blasts at churches, hotels on Easter Sunday

Easter worshippers includes non-Christians or agnostics or turned up just for the occasion. It's inclusive not exclusive. Lots of people go to church at Easter and Christmas who don't normally go. Also it's not something I have seen in the "main stream media" here. Maybe it's an Australia...

Re: Bicycles/motor bikes on country highways

An Australian mate and I rode motos down to SHV. I was ahead of him on an open highway, some yamma'd fool in a minivan overtook him, and then slammed into me sideways, with intent to kill (presumably). The only payoff I can imagine was showing off to others in the van, who had completely freaked out...

Re: At least 156 dead, hundreds injured in multiple blasts at churches, hotels on Easter Sunday

When mass murder is committed in the name of religion, then anger is normal, but how you deal with it is up to you. You are responsible for how you react. I consider that anyone who stirs up hate towards others is contributing to the general climate of violence. It is sad to see that the acts of ma...

I'll admit I haven't read the full thread so this may have already been expressed.

The mainstream media can't bring itself to report that those attacked were Christians, instead they are now "Easter worshippers" ... FFS.

That's up there with "some people did some things" on 9/11.

Some of the most entertaining FB interaction I've seen for a long while! That poor bugger is screwed, but he's digging his own hole.

Yes! Yell at the Cambodian officials, tell them why they're wrong! That will help.

Negatory - burning the timber would release the carbon back into the atmosphere. That's the black in wood smoke.
What's the black in charcoal?
Also carbon. Point?

Re: is it hot enough for ya??

In a normal cycle a tree grows, absorbing carbon and releasing oxygen. After it's life cycle the old tree will collapse, and a new tree will grow in it's place. The old tree will decompose in a few years time and absorb oxygen and release carbon. By 'storing' the old tree you prevent this from happ...
