Get married in Hong Kong. It's by far the easiest option. Schengen visitor visa pretty much can't be refused at that point, but residence will probably be trickier, depending on the country.

Tell me how many times the rules changed after the Government announcement how to apply for a retirement EOS and what are the changes? If you mean the government announcement that clearly and unambiguously stated all the requirements for the different visa extensions and the dates they applied from...

I would guess that’s because you are legally resident in UK or other Western country. All these ‘cheap’ insurance policies require you to be a resident of that country. Nope, left the UK in 2002, no address, not on the electoral role etc. I have an expat medical insurance policy from the UK company...

Royal Mail tracked and signed for always takes at least 2 weeks in my experience. And it won't get delivered to a PO Box; you'll get the usual call from the Wat Phnom post office and have to go and collect it. DHL takes 3 days from the UK.
