Re: Looking for a nice area to settle down.
How are they rougher fr anywhere else? They've got boreys out there and all. Nothing too sketchy about that area, quite nice, cheap accomodation and traffic isn't too bad in the morning.John Bingham wrote:The areas adjoining NR5 in Russei Keo District are rough as hell.

Re: How much would it cost?
FYI I think the house you initially posted would cost 12-15k. If totally K-style inside, the maybe 10k but no less. People saying 5k are delusional.

Re: Where can I buy Loctite?
Yeah I'd be careful using epoxy or quick steel. A bit of crazy glue, contact cement or liquid gasket might be better.

Re: Cost of Living Now and Down the Road
I'd be very wary about moving here on $1300/month for two. Sure, it's doable and likely more comfortable than living off the same in a western country, but it's far from a lavish lifestyle. If you have money set aside for emergencies (medical/travel/etc) the it might be alright. If you're on a set p...

Re: Where can I buy Loctite?
I've never seen loctite here. I have a bit of the red at home (I think I've run out of the blue) and it's like gold. A few friends also have some. You might want to visit Sang bike shop near TTP, he might have a bit lying around. I don't think he'd sell a bottle, but could probably sort you out depe...

Re: 2% Anchor flavored upside down lemon beer
It's a Radler. Nothing weird about it. They're quite popular as a summer drink all over Germany and elsewhere. I think some call them Shantys? You can often make your own (mix Sprite or lemon juice with beer). Great way to beat the heat without getting too drunk. I bought some a few weeks ago and en...

Weird. I just carry a small Listerine bottle filled with soap and take it with you when you take a dump. It's not rocket science.Jamie_Lambo wrote:dont forget to bring some tissues, unless you dont mind washing your arse with bucket of water...

Re: MH370 found in Cambodian JUNGLE? "Truth-seeker" to investigate
It happened at night time. Unlikely anybody would be out to photograph it. If somebody did see it they would not know it was not a regular flight. The experts agreed that it did fly for a number of hours after the communication was turned off. Unlikely somebody would turn off the communication, the...

Re: Classic Fights with your Khmer Partner
I dunno. To me it's weird that you'd contact him without even knowing the guy. I would have waited until we'd been formally introduced or something (like both sisters meet up for a house party, a double date or whatever). I'd find it weird if someone contacted me like that out of the blue as if we h...

Re: Heinz Salad Cream
Seriously, the best mayo recipe is the condensed milk version, give it a try. 1 tsp hot english Mustard Powder or mustard 1 Tin Sweetened Condensed Milk 1/2 - 1 Cup white vinegar (depending on consistency you want) Season with salt n pepper Mix it together, done! From there you can add whatever you...
