Re: current info on getting a Thai Tourist visa in PP
probably worth the 65 as staying 3 or 4 days will run way more than 15 bucks. The place I stay has gone from $7 to $13 a couple years ago, and now 18. Tho some places nearby have got cheap rooms but have become really run down and no security to speak of. Ok guesthouse is a shadow of it's former sel...

Re: Has the ThaiVisa Forum Shriveled Substantially?
I stopped even looking at it years ago. IF I do a search for info and some TV hit comes up, I might look but invariably it's many years old info. Seems like people just stopped posting anything but drivel. There are many sites that claim to have info, but mostly they're bullshit.

current info on getting a Thai Tourist visa in PP
as I recall it's not a pain, folks use Lucky Lucky and one person said they'd always used some travel agency on the Riverside I believe he said. Any info about actual experiences being asked for onward travel, proof of funds and HOTEL booking (this one make no sense to me at all) would be very much ...

Re: TOF (Scobienz Sells Khmer440 Expat Forum)
I believe participation rates on forums and FB are declining all over. In my opinion, Thaivisa is crashing, K440 was sliding badly, various FB expat pages with seemingly rising memberships show very little traffic but with a few exceptions. My small number of real-life friends on FB hardly post new...

Re: chinese in cambodia
Chinese people have been here for generations. They've been here since the time of the Khmer Empire and probably before. So more than a millennium. They'll be here for long after all the long-noses are gone. begs the question if you ask me. There's a billion of em now, and millions are making more ...

I even bring it when I come, that heat will have ya coated in an oily dusty, dirty muck and then ya gotta get clean with cold water? no way...LAVA. Hope it works for ya...

Re: How to identify a hippy ?
If anyone's interested, Bumblebee Cambodia Soap has just developed a Patchouli and Orange soap, featuring Cambodian bamboo charcoal... :D are you kidding? cuz Lava soap with pumice does wonders for the acne they have there. Charcoal might just be a good substitute. I'd always thought some fine powd...
