Not looking to get a work permit or any sort of entitlement.. just asking if I can extend my newly issued ordinary visa so that I can spend 3 months here.. should have went with a tourist visa then at least I could have spent two months here... Arrghh

So no go then. Companies need to be local ones.. so anybody knows if I can extend my newly issued ordinary visa one time without need for any locally issued documents? Thanks.

I work online for foreign companies so can't provide any letter of employment. They can't email you a letter? Really? If they pay you, there must be some kind of record, right? I doubt any official would accept that explanation. I actually have income certificate, contracts etc.. however I thought ...

So, just got back with a new ordinary visa. Is it still possible to extend this to 1 or 3 months eb visa without any documents? I work online for foreign companies so can't provide any letter of employment. Or is the original / new ordinary visa issued upon arrival also included with this new rule?

Thanks for the replies. Good call on the fibr connection. For power, I actually thought about generators since they're really cheap now but to be honest Im sure I'll be too lazy to set it up during blackouts. My initial plan was to fly directly there.
