I'm sure the restaurants are capable of saying to guests that they can drink as long as they order food in future.
Some places do have a big TV and are thus inundated with a cheap beer crowd when footballs on.

Re: Do Expats really think life in Cambodia is meaningful?
Life here is as good as anywhere could be so long as the good bits are treated with moderation and the bad bits don't drag you down so much. The hardest thing for me is the shear loneliness. I've got mates and girls are easy to find but there is very little meaningfulness in these relationships. Gi...

Re: Insurance Refuses to Pay Out for British Backpacker with Broken Neck
This is a big reason not to have insurance. Insurance companies dont always pay out. They might pay out on this one now it is creating bad publicity. This is a big reason not to have insurance? Sure if the person brings it on themselves the insurance may not pay, but in my experience they usually d...

Re: Do Expats really think life in Cambodia is meaningful?
Isn't it amazing the kind of things peeps do to make their time in Cambodia meaningful. Happiness is a reward triggered by hunt eat and fuck endorphins. A perpetual chase as Buddha apparently observed. It is perhaps surprisingly not achieved by having 'everything '. Sent from my SM-G570Y using Tapat...

Re: I'm Bored To Death
It's all about Perspective. A person who knows Cambodia over time may indeed find it boring, but for a newbie I can't see that being the case, there's enough on offer for at least some time. I dunno. I think South East Asia is changing fast. It seems like it used to be much more fun before. Tourism ...
