I did a wedding ceremony in PP in '05 with the ex. We had already been married in the US for a long time, but as far as I know nobody came around looking for permits.
They may have come around and I didn't know. I was just along for the ride and had nothing to do with the planning aspect. :unknown:

I did a wedding ceremony in 2006. Never got married though because just days earlier the whore had married someone else who quickly came to his senses and abandoned her.

If I was a but more learned I would have run. Would've saved a lot of shit now...

Sounds like the warning signs were there but we often miss them at the time. Hind sight is a wonderful thing.

Just curious, if you werent legally married, how did she obtain a spousal visa? Or did your country of origin decide that the ceremony was enough to prove marriage?

I think the 2 children were conclusive evidence plus living together for 5 years
