Frog Skin Bar
Frog Skin Bar
Was at the opening of the Frog Skin Bar last night, which is on 5 street next to Domino and close to 110 street. Its owned by Linnie who also owns Black Pearl and Jessica who I think owns Apple bar.
They put on a pretty decent BBQ which among other things included steak, chicken wings and kebabs. The bar had a good atmosphere, it is nicely designed and is very much a clone of Black Pearl. Didn't really check on prices although Tiger draft was $2.

Re: Frog Skin Bar
I once read I'm a book about an American Indian tribe that called greenbacks"frog skins." I have no idea if that was the inspiration for the bar's name.
Also, goggle offers definitions along the same lines.

Re: Frog Skin Bar
A few very nice girls but I think they were mainly friends of Linnie and Jessica there for the party. There was also a few from both Black Pearl and Apple. Probably need to check back in a week or so when things are up and running.General Mackevili wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2017 4:51 pm But most importantly, how was the talent?

Re: Frog Skin Bar
Interesting, maybe they are hoping the bar will attract greenbacks I was going to ask about the name but forgot. Will ask Jessica next week if I see her.
