38yo Chinese business man dies of heart attack, Sihanoukville
24 March 2017. A 38 yo Chinese general manager, working at the SSEZ (special economic zone) in Sihanoukville, was unwell on the morning of 24 March, and was taken to the Provincial Referral Hospital at Sihanoukville by his co-workers, but he died shortly afterwards. Cause of death is given as heart attack, even though he was only 38, and not at all overweight according to this photo.
Warning, this is a photo of the body. Point of the photo is that he is an unlikely( but not impossible) victim of a random heart attack at age 38, and topically, there has been an increasing number of Chinese workers in Cambodia reportedly dying of "heart attacks" in the past months. RIP

Rising number of Chinese too. I'm sure some bring their opium habits here with them.

From last year
China facing epidemic of heart disease, stroke
The researchers estimated that high blood pressure alone was responsible for roughly 40% of heart attacks or stroke. High blood pressure has jumped dramatically in China over the past three decades, the authors noted: In 1979, its prevalence in the population was 7.7%; by 2010 it was 33.5%—comparable to that among U.S. adults https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/press ... mic-hu-li/

Is opium addiction a risk factor for ischemic heart disease and ischemic stroke?Luigi wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2017 7:31 pmThey have their own pipeline for thems.Fourkinnel wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2017 11:50 am Rising number of Chinese too. I'm sure some bring their opium habits here with them.
Conclusion:
Oral opium consumption is a protective factor of IS but not IHD. Inhaled opium addiction does not have a significant influence on occurrence of IS and IHD.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3698656/
