Most of the weddings I have been to have been in back of beyond, KC.
I guess if the cops were there they were out of uniform and on the piss.
Last two I got roped into I was put in charge of the money bowl. Fine by me, long as the beer keeps coming!

That's strange, all I've been to and all the ones in the province I've seen had police.
