Wedding Brawl in Sihanoukville: Dude Pulls Out a Machete And Gets His Head Split Open

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Aren't there usually police there? Almost every wedding if not every one of both foreigner and Khmer, I've always saw police. Maybe I'm thinking too much lol. Quite fun times indeed. I hope there was a videographer to capture the lovely moment.

At least the bride (bride's maid?) secured the box with the envelopes (around 27 seconds in):-).

I avoid weddings when at all possible, but I have never seen any police presence at any of the ones I have attended, except for when they show up for some cash, food and beer briefly.

I have been do dozens of weddings. No police when it is in a wedding place but in the boonies, the couple always pay to have a cop or 5 around.

No, I have been to weddings in the middle of nowhere and the family had rented cops. No wonder, seeing how often the shit hits the fan once the rice wine has left its mark.
