VISA ATM's fees, withdrawall limits.

Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. VISA ATM's fees, withdrawall limits.

Post by snookieboi »

Which ATM's offer the best deals regarding fees and withdrawall limits for Visa cards?

Thank you.

Maybank has no fee for some Visa cards (they say European ones, but my AU issued Citibank one is also free). $500/day limit.

Withdrawal limits are normally set by your own bank/credit card provider, rather than the banks ATM

Maybank is the only one I've found to not charge. There was a few ANZ machines that had old software about a year ago that gave out free withdrawals, now all of them charge five bucks, the robbing cunts. How hard is it to put cash in a box? ABA has a $200 limit for withdrawals, and it's usually the only ATM you can find in the boonies. Plus the $5 on top.

(Most) Banks in Cambodia set daily ATM withdrawal limits, regardless of your card provider.

@cptrelentless...ABA has a $1000 per transaction withdrawal limit, not sure where you got the $200 limit from but it's incorrect.

Have an ATM fund for your holiday you're going to get screwed.

Can't take too much out at once or you'll lose it.

Also your U.K. Bank might have daily withdrawal limit and be prepared to phone them when your card is declined as you travel through different countries.

Unfortunately living in country and having local account is much cheaper.

Dammit, Citibank AU has switched allegiance from Visa to Mastercard... is there a bank/ATM that offers fee free withdrawals for Mastercards?

Thanks, but I'd be very surprised if ANZR had fee-free withdrawals. All Australian banks are cunts.
