Travel in Cambodia: Mondulkiri

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

"The nice hotel I stayed was right on a lake, they had a little deli..." Do you happen to remember the name of the hotel?
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

although i heard (this from BDS) that lots of the forrests have been chopped down and its sad to see
traveling the road between Banlung and Sen Monorom u will see HUGE areas where the trees have been cut down and also where many many "new, small wooden homes in housing estates in the middle of nowhere have been built for the displaced people of Cambodia

Drove thru there last summer

in Banlung there is a great hotel on the main road for like $13 "Ratanak Royal hotel" 1 block from the night market and circle and for u Jamie a place out back to enjoy drinks and.....
The hotel on the lake ( there are two of them) we looked at, but to far of a walk from town.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
