Water pressure in PP

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Water pressure in PP

Post by Duncan »

I know there is a topic on Low water pressure , but cannot find it. But has anyone noticed the very high water pressure we have now. I have lived in the same apartment for nearly 10 years and have never ever known the water pressure to be this high. Have had to be very careful when using the bum gun.

Has someone dicked about with the valve/stop cock on your mains hookup? Most of the connections, certainly here, are cranked down to the minimum flow as all the hoses and joints pop when you apply full pressure. As I discovered. At least now I get hot water out of the shower.

I use both: a preliminary wipe, a spray and a wipe to dry.

If the pressure is too high you might consider installing a tap to the bum gun hose to turn it down.

No, A tap will not reduce the pressure, it will only reduce the flow rate. To reduce the pressure you need a pressure reducing valve.

If you already know the answer I'm not sure why you'd ask the question.
