Christmas Dinner in Sihanoukville

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

A professional English chef called Gary runs the place - 'nice bloke' :) from Jersey or Guernsey or somewhere in the Channel Islands if I remember correct

Sorry - hungover today
what's happened to Roy?....has he sold up?
AFAIK Roy's still there, but Gary is now running the restaurant. He's changed a few things, doing a good job attracting more customers from what I can see. ie. the "Snooky Steak House". It's a great location with lots of potential now that Makara St has been widened and sealed, other businesses are moving in and the area is looking more prosperous.

Once upon a time, there was a Snooky's tuktuk for customers, but I think that's long gone ?

The move to Cambodia lady has done a subjective list. I only know SO because my dad ate there once, said it wasn't great and the portions very small. Otherwise I guess it's pot luck:

Think the only Christmas dinner in Snooky will be peking duck and noodles but you cannot go. Only Chinese allowed :-)

We are going to Mick and Craig’s for $15 dinner. Their roast is awesome!

I was told tonight that they still have a few places left for the 25th, and there will be some saved for walk-ins, but first come, first served.
