15/30 day visa exemption Koh Kong border?

Post by lurcio »

Hi,
I am planning on spending a few days in Thailand next month and want to know if anyone has recently crossed at the Koh Kong / Had Lek border without first obtaining a visa (ie. received an exemption stamp at the Thai immigration point).
Thanks,
Lurcio

Missed that - mods can delete/merge this thread.

Only one answer to the question which relates to a trip over a month ago so would love to hear from anyone who has done it recently as I've heard conflicting information in the media and can't find any official policy.

Got this answer on the other forum for those who are interested.
As I live in Koh Kong I do my shopping in Trat TH.
So yesterday went as planned and at the border nothing has changed at Thai Immigration, fill in your departure form hand it in with your passport and you will get a 15 day visa.
