Guess which five were arrested for impersonating police officers ? Which one was released ?
And, joker question, where is the money that was extorted at the fake checkpoint ?

Five Charged With Impersonating Police
Border police in Kratie province’s Snuol district arrested six men for impersonating police officers on Thursday night as the imposters were setting up a checkpoint to demand money from drivers, according to police and a court spokesman.

The suspects were identified as Van Veasna, 22, Van Sangha, 20, Mao Chiva, 20, Van Samnang, 23, Pon Sotra, 26, and Kach Bunly, 20, who was the driver and the only one not in uniform.

According to the police report, the men drove a Toyota Highlander with police license plates and a Toyota Corolla with normal license plates, both of which bore police logos on their doors as required by the Ministry of Interior.

Provincial court spokesman Hak Hann said the judge only charged five of the six arrested, while another man who managed to flee is being sought.

“The judge decided to send the five of them to prison on charges of faking a police car and police uniform according to articles 615 and 616 [of the Criminal Code], while one person was let go because when we arrested him, he was not wearing a police uniform,” he said, referring to Mr. Bunly.

“Another man known as Mab, who impersonated a three-star general, escaped when police were at the scene. He is being sought,” he said.

Mr. Hann said demanding money from road users was not included in the charges because there was no evidence despite the border police reporting that they had demanded money from trucks carrying wood.

My "translation" of the underlined passage is that all the extortion money has been "confiscated" by the real/border police who were upset about missing out on several days of illegal logging revenue. There is, of course, no evidence.

Britain once had the death penalty for impersonating a Chelsea Pensioner.

This startling fact was in our History "O-level'' text so it MUST be true
