BugZone: Nothing's perfect...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Losing 3 days of posts is better than losing 3 months of posts.
Sorry for any inconvenience. We'll start taking hourly back ups.

Mammothboy your new handle went with today's posts.

Retardedwaitress, apparently you exist again.
when i logged in this morning everything was back to 4th of June, at least weve not lost too much, although i had some unread inboxes that i guess i wont get back?
what was the problem anyway?

Correct. Anything during that 3-day time frame won't come back, but at least we got it got it down to 3 days.

Also happened at a terrible time for me personally, when I just started a new job and have been without internet.

That said, I just had time to get a SIM card, so should be OK with internet access from now on.

While it's good we had a backup from 3 days ago (better than 3 months ago), I still owe EVERYONE a huge personal apology for losing the recent posts, so sorry for that.

I couldn't be more appreciative of everyone in the community who takes the time to post, whether it's daily or less often, so hope you know that I'm very sorry we lost anything, as it's content you/we have all contributed to CEO.

Username Taken might be able to shed more light on what happened, but I'm just glad we got things back on track for everyone.

Again, been busy with a new job so haven't had the chance to sort it all out completely, but UT has already started talking about improving our backups so that we wouldn't even lose 3 days if some shit like this happened again.

So thanks for everyone's patience, and at least know we're always working towards improving the site in any way we can and this has sparked us to improve our backups even further.

And super glad to see everyone already active again too, so thanks!

Yep, these problems could happen to any one of us , that spends all their time playing with their camels and building sand castles.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

They don't have to be there. We all have read them. I wonder if we should have ranks for you, Jamie and Kiwiincambodia on who has better understanding or experiencing in whoremongering in Cambodia. :stir:

To be fair I've seen some of the girls Jamie picks up, there is no way bugs aren't involved in some way.
