Boy Died After a Pair of Wooden Vases Fell On Him
Mondolkiri: according to Koh Santepheap Daily News, a boy died immediately after he was sitting and then two big wooden vases fell on him in which killed him instantly.
The family members and neighbors were under the impression and underestimate of the possibility of this incident.
This incident happened in the evening on 1 July 2016 at his house located in keo Sema city, Mondolkiri.
The victim is an eight years old boy whose parents own a construction materials shop in the city of keo Sema.
Witnesses said, before the incident happened the little boy was running around in the house and then he tied a hammock from one standing vase to another one. He then started swinging the hammock while he was sitting in it which later the two vases fell down on him that on one could give him any assistance as it killed him right away.
The witnesses put the blame on the parents for decorating their house with these furnitures and are lack of measures to protect their young children.

That's a shame. I don't know why people put those ugly things in their houses anyway, and they are a waste of hardwood. Whole forests are getting razed so people can make stupid vases out of the trees.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Those ugly fucking vases and all the other awful furniture. I think it is a status symbol to have as many dead trees as possible around the house.

Wow that's a bit harsh! I hardly think the child destroyed any forests and nobody deserves this! What a cunty thing to say.

Re: Boy Died After a Pair of Wooden Vases Fell On Him
I knocked over a HUGE Buddhist vase (or whatever you call that thing they load with incense sticks) while playing pool at one of the bars on Victory Hill in Sihanoukville. Called fireflies I think.
It was on a shelf near the pool table and my stick hit it as I took a shot. The whole thing came crashing down in a dust cloud.
They say it had been there for 5 years. Seems unlikely as it was in the worst possible place it could be.
I was supposed to do some prayers on my pillow when I got home, but naturally forgot.
Am I cursed now or something? They were horrified when it happened, but to be fair, it had no business being there right next to the pool table where patrons play drunken pool until the early morning.
