they keep looking for a plane that can do it all, end up with a plane that cannot do anything effectively, but in this scenario is about cost. J35 program is a money pit, and not just usa is sunk in it, uk, japan, singapore to name a few

Better add Australia to that list . Taxpayers dollars sunk into sub's.
