Purely out of interest, was that a legit upgrade Jacob?
Legit upgrade? What do you mean? I upgraded through iTunes. I think it was legit.

If you're using Apple products, you probably don't give a shit to begin with.

Genuine upgrade of iOS as opposed to a 'Bodgy' upgrade... from what you say, legit.

Oh gotcha. Yes, it's legit. I usually only update via Apple.

I'm a bit like that, I only run legit operating systems.

Same here really. I'll pirate all kinds of shit, but I figure my foundation should at least be solid and fully supported.

Not to mention, the expense and effort that goes into building a functional operating system is not lost on me and I feel those who take on that monster should be rewarded for it.

I'm on Smart 4G plan, and I'm also having issues with iMessage activation in Cambodia.

We recently found out that Apple send a "secret" sms to a data center in the UK at the cost of an sms to that destination (for us it was 10c) to activate iMessage and FaceTime.

There is no way to tell from the device that this message has been sent. Since I work for a telco I looked at the billing data for my number and found this out.

Has it been working before for you or? Do you have credit so this message can be sent to activate?

I used to have smart and iMessage activation worked. I assume it's because they are an apple authorized operator or something. Cellcard, for example isn't and I can't activate iMessage but I can still use it
