Russia To Help Cambodia Build Capacity For Nuclear Power
Re: Russia To Help Cambodia Build Capacity For Nuclear Power
I was just going to say...........OH NO !!!
Re: Russia To Help Cambodia Build Capacity For Nuclear Power
before they have even finished the first plant there will be a once and for all catastrophe at Fukishima that should hopefully put people off nuclear power forever
I hope people don't think that just because you never hear anything about Fukishima anymore that the problem was solved or diminished. It's just that the journalists were threatened with 10 years imprisonment for reporting about it. Since then things got even worse!
Nuclear Investigator: Worry over underground explosions at Fukushima — New data shows molten fuel is “dropping lower each day”, melting deeper into ground below plant — Disaster far worse than public being told — “Why aren’t we reading about this everywhere?”
Nuclear Engineer: My biggest concern is Fukushima plant will collapse… Concrete under reactors is being “eaten away”… “There’s ongoing chemical attacks” — Containment structures are tilting, in jeopardy of falling over (AUDIO)
Nuclear Engineer: Fukushima is “worst industrial cataclysm in history of world… As close to hell as I can imagine” — Melted fuel ‘disappeared’ — Contamination will go on for hundreds of thousands of years… “No one knows when it’ll end” — Gov’t perpetrating ongoing cover-up (VIDEO)

was under the impression (dont quote me) that one of the principles of ASEAN was nuclear free.
apparently laos has much excess hydro-energy to sell
yes they go nuclear ahead and i too will relocate, perhaps to laos?

Laos is far to close to Cambodia if (when) something goes wrong! The winds will carry the fall out all over Laos and Thailand.Imposter111 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:43 pm was under the impression (dont quote me) that one of the principles of ASEAN was nuclear free.

Cambodia needs to work out how to manage its existing infrastructure before considering building a nuclear power station.
Any nuclear power station will have to be built on the coast near Sihanoukville where the roads, sewerage system etc. are already under pressure and crumbling.

Re: Russia To Help Cambodia Build Capacity For Nuclear Power
Nuclear power is the cleanest and safest way to power our planet for the future.
Chernobyl, Fukishima, 3 mile island - pretty much all Nuke plants in the western world are 1950's tech, expensive and dangerous.
High-temperature, gas-cooled, pebbled-bed reactors are basically meltdown proof, cheap to build and run and are the way of the future for power generation. China and a few of the Scandic nations are the world pioneers in this tech.
Bring it on.
