Heavy shit on Facebook- Live murder

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Heavy shit on Facebook- Live murder

what is the world coming too? :please:
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I'll say something controversial. This doesn't mean I don't care about the man who was senselessly murdered because that was harsh, but I think this kind of awareness being brought into the public eye can be a good thing to wake up people to the reality of thugs and murder in the inner cities of the U.S. This stuff happens all the time but seeing statistics on the news doesn't put a face to the crimes. The more people that understand the damage that thugs like this man actually do, the better.

Facebook under pressure after man livestreams killing of his daughter
25 April 2017
Distressing footage of murder of 11-month old in Thailand was accessible to Facebook users for approximately 24 hours before being taken down
Facebook is coming under fresh pressure over its Facebook Live service after a Thai man broadcast a video of himself killing his 11-month-old daughter.

Wuttisan Wongtalay, 20, filmed the murder of his daughter on the rooftop of a deserted hotel in two video clips streamed on Facebook, before committing suicide, police in the Thai town of Phuket said on Tuesday. Relatives reportedly saw the distressing footage on Monday evening and alerted the police, who arrived too late to save either Wuttisan or his daughter.

The two harrowing clips were then accessible to users on his Facebook page for approximately 24 hours before being taken down at 5pm local time (10am GMT) on Tuesday. The first video had been viewed 112,000 times by mid-afternoon on Tuesday, while the second video had 258,000 views. The videos were also uploaded by other people to Google’s YouTube. YouTube said the videos were taken down within 15 minutes of it being notified.

Wuttisan’s suicide was not broadcast on Facebook but his body was found beside his daughter...

The family speaks out and forgives the killer on CNN. Very nice change to hear over the prevalent hateful rhetoric that plagues every day life.

4:45 is when they talk about forgiving the killer, up to then is a recap on the father's life.

Now, if everyone can find it in their hearts to forgive Facebook. Image
