Amphetamine is a part of the Phenethylamine Class
Amphetamine has its own class called Substituted Amphetamines to which MDMA belongs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Substituted_amphetamine
Amphetamine belongs to the phenethylamine class. It is also the parent compound of its own structural class, the substituted amphetamines, which includes prominent substances such as bupropion, cathinone, MDMA (ecstasy), and methamphetamine.
so yeah, MDMA is not Amphetamine but MDMA is a type of Amphetamine, to which you claimed it wasnt
nor is MDMA an amphetamine

so MDMA is not related to Amphetamines in any way? that chemically it has no relation at all, is that what youre saying?

to my knowledge MDMA is/was a type of Amphetamine that has been "designed/mixed" with other drugs,
to give different effects (stimulant/hallucinogenic) which has created a stronger drug,
which is why police drug law class it higher as a class A, while Amphetamines alone are a class B drug

"They weren't making drugs, just pressing MDMA into larger than normal X pills. The big gray machine is a press and the bag of tan powder in the green envelope in the video looks like MDMA. If Hannah's (the dreadlocked one) friends are reading this, all her shit is in a bag at Mom's. We didn't find her passport, just a few personal effects, took photos of everything.

MDMA is an amphetamine, which you'll know if you've taken it and can then dance all night. These kids were just making disco biscuits to sell on NYE, it's ludicrously expensive (I got quoted $25 a pill).
