Nanny needed

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

Speak engish? Like kids? Are you Khmer? Then, 3 children need your assistance. Only respond if you are highly trustworthy and reliable. One lie, cheat or steal and you are finished. Otherwise, we look forward to long mutual relationship. 100usd per month, free food, free housing.

Holy shit - they don't want free housing they want to do their hours and get the fuck out of there like any worker.

My friend is a nanny in Shitsville and gets $300 a month and a free moto for 5 hours a day 6 day/week.

Oh and only 2 little bastards to take care of.

Good luck.

300 a month is seriously over paid, how many hours do they work? the problem i oftenly encountered is that all of them will proclaim they have the ability to do something but in the end a 120$ non skill staff is about the same as a 250$ "experienced" staff, unless the nanny have been working for many years and can be totally trusted, then 300$ is reasonable
Money is not the problem, the problem is no money

...the 300 dollar Nanny would be the one I would be looking for if they were my children. Strating off with a threat in the job description, followed by a 100 dollar offer for a 24/7 position says a lot about the value the poster places on those THREE children. Certainly gives the future employee a good idea about the personality of her bosses charakter.

i would advise cambodia parents network on FB as a better place to seek a nanny.
most of the posters here would not even know how to look after a cat or own one.
they might forget what they were charged with and wander off to GSM

I still hope that most posters here would be able to take care of a cat, bird, dog, horse or people. Once it is officially established that the majority here does not have this basic and inherant skill, it will be time for me to change forums. Any further advanced dialog here then would be of little value.
