iSmart International School of Sihanoukville (Bad Review From Female Teaching English in Cambodia)

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

No money exchanged hands, it really was just for fun. The advert was shown during that Indian soap opera that finished a while ago, my Khmer friends were impressed.
Ok I admit, I did it for the fame!

That seems to be a theme with this school. They don't pay anyone.

I am one of the first teachers of iSmart international school. At first it seems okay. Ive Marie Sales Acla(the principal), is also Filipina like me... So I offered extra working time for free... Stay in school during lunch to feed the students with rice and Maggie soy sauce.. Then let them watch movie... I started August 2015 and February of 2016 I decided to resign... But I have to wait after a month... So I waited... Ivy told me that she can give me only half of mg salary for February because I might leave as soon as they will give me my salary... I trusted her... So its okay... March 24th came... Lol... Resignation took effect... And she said... She will phone me if she already have the money for my salary... I waited and waited and waited... I am supposed to sue her... But, I instead posted on Facebook and twas shared by our common friends and their neighbours in Philippines... I found out a lot more of her horrible horrifyingly acts....
Sorry miss Andy... I know you are such a sweet person... Very nice to the students and to us your co teachers... I know, as soon as I left iSmart she told you bad stories about me... Like what she did when teacher Hilda left... She did not pay teacher Hilda as well... She did not pay her first Cambodian marketing manager and even the cleaner... She doesn't have a heart... Or yeah maybe she have... But only for Shal... The indian owner....

Have you talked to the Indian owner? Has iSmart International School threatened to take legal action over your posts?
