the reef bar & grill, sihanoukville
its getting from bad to worst, this morning i ordered an egg benedict, 1 egg yolk was totally cooked, the other has no egg yolk!!
i guess thats why more and more business are up for sale, many people come to snooky thinking that they can setup any business and wait for the money to roll in while they sip their pina colada on the beach.
Money is not the problem, the problem is no money

That looks nasty!

"Making eggs benedict requires careful orchestration. You have to have warm, crispy bacon, hot buttered toasted English muffins, eggs poached perfectly to your desire, and a warm, creamy, unbroken Hollandaise sauce, all at about the same time." Obviously way beyond them

i used to have eggs benedict there all the time, in the beginning it was still ok, only that the hollandse sauce was too sour, then the egg yolks started becoming more cooked and not runny anymore, now it is totally cooked through and 1 doesnt even have an egg yolk
btw i paid and left, didnt eat at all

I stopped going there a year or so ago. They used to have nice T-bone steaks and a salad bar. The last time I was there the steak was still frozen in the middle as they took it directly from the freezer to fry it, no salad bar and the quality of the steak was terrible. That was the second time I got a bad meal there as every restaurant has a bad night and I was giving them a second chance, but it just got worse. Just across the street is the Munche's where I go to get a deep fried prawn platter and chips for $3.50. Mike's burger is just down the street (Bar-B-Q Pork Rib Burger) and the noodle shop just west of the Reef has decent noodle/post-stickers. Just off of the Golden Lyons circle and down what I call Cambodian restaurant street, the first restaurant on the left after The Terrace, spits a whole calf. For $7.50 (Take away) you get a container of really tender beef (cut right from the spitted calf) and a container of vegys. I stop at the Orange market, get some buns and Bar-B-Q sauce and make Bar-B-Q beef sandwich's.
