Actually it's more than 5 minutes but by the time the broth is made its probably more hygienically sterile than some bottled water sold as 'safe'.

I have used the 5 minute rule in some pretty scary places. I would rather boil water for 5 minutes than add iodine. Under most circumstances 5 minutes of a rolling boil is fine. But back to the original post. If you want your food western sterile you are in the wrong country. Chinese noodle is a great place.

Just a quick update on the place:
I has moved! The old place has been transformed into a sort of shop/office.

NOW:
The noodle shop has moved a dramatic 15 meters to the north. In other words, it is now immediately north of Bayon Bakery. The new establishment looks much cleaner, it is a big wider which helps during the lunch stampede. Also, if I m not wrong, 2 or 4 tables more. According to my tummy no significant changes with the food. Owner as nice as ever. As it is a good stop for some quick and decent food.

Definitely not the only place in town that does this.

nine words and zero info.....

why dont you share your knowledge?

My statement was based on walking around (not all of PP for sure) and info from locals. So your correction will do good to all of us :)

Chill out Pizzalover, I wasn't trying to be a cunt, I actually enjoyed your review and should have said as much so as not to upset you.

There are quite a few places that I know of around PP that hand make their noodles and dumplings right in front of the customers...names and precise locations I can't recall off the top of my head unfortunately, I was just saying that Chinese noodle house is not the only place.

Wow, it amazes me how easily some people get upset over nothing on the fucking internet!

Great review by the way :thumb:
