why the hell are there so many indo place now? 2 at diamond sea, 1 at mohosorob, 1 opp WM casino, the only indo i hv seen so far are the owner of holiday plazaLuigi wrote:Rybull wrote;

No.
I lived above that place before the owners leased to present occupants. Nice apt. for the price but the rats invaded to the point I was trapping 3-4 every nite. I had to wire the traps to something to keep from dragging away. Once they started to come into my apt. it was time to go. Plus the cop shop next door were a real nuisance with drunk parties 4-5 times a week.
I think the Indo places side by side across from diamond sea serve the casino industry as there were many motos taking 10-12 or more take-aways several times a day. IDKFS. Just a guess really.
Money is not the problem, the problem is no money

Lots of them working at Holiday Palace cause the boss is Indo aswell, they rent a few villas and apart. buildings in the backroads there. A scatter of others at some casinos. See the guys at the Square drinking pretty often. Ask the girls they'll know more! There's a few entrepreneurial of them around town too, one runs a bike refit shop, etc...bolueeleh wrote:why the hell are there so many indo place now? 2 at diamond sea, 1 at mohosorob, 1 opp WM casino, the only indo i hv seen so far are the owner of holiday plazaLuigi wrote:Rybull wrote;

There's alot of them working at Holiday Palace for sure, and they must have some kind of online gaming thing going on there aswell, probly over a hundred working there for sure but dunno how they can support a half dozen restaurants. My Crazy Crab restaurant beside the Fried Chicken is owned by indonesians too, maybe you can drop in there and chat to the cute owner, she'll give you the lowdown. Would rather more indos that chinks to be honest.bolueeleh wrote:precisely, i hv only seen indo at holiday palace, the owner, managers etc, 1 indo restaurant would be enough, started to see more indo users on wechat soliciting for online gambling as well.Raybull wrote: Lots of them working at Holiday Palace cause the boss is Indo aswell, they rent a few villas and apart. buildings in the backroads there. So where is this Heng Heng restaurant?
Grilled fish, fries, small salad & 2 beer for $3.00 for lunch sounds a cracking deal!

Yep, the couple that owned it opened up a place in Otres then passed this place on to the younger guy that was the chef. Lots of expats used to eat there cause was cheap but dunno now.Jamie_Lambo wrote:we talking victory hill?Raybull wrote:I think it's the place nearly across but up 10m from the bigger shop on the back street with all the restos.Jamie_Lambo wrote:So where is this Heng Heng restaurant?

K, maybe she was just working there. Didn't like the place so not going back to find out anyways. Can eat better seafood for half price elsewhere.bolueeleh wrote:heard the debatable cutie owner talking in chinese, think she is from malaysia, malaysian hv a distinctive chinese speaking accentRaybull wrote:There's alot of them working at Holiday Palace for sure, and they must have some kind of online gaming thing going on there aswell, probly over a hundred working there for sure but dunno how they can support a half dozen restaurants.
