Why move to Cambodia? Because you can ...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

So, now you only have to have the same fears once a year after you have accumulated more stuff?
what fears??? My land is in my daughter name, house is in my name, that wont ever change, alot less fear than Cambodia where u have a dictator (who rules with a iron fist ) in power, ( not that the government there is that much better, at least here they believe in democracy even thou it never seems to work)

"Perhaps u should learn how to use the quote."

Perhaps I should for posters like you who are too lazy to read.

Looks like you are paying way too much for beer and hookers. Rent, food and transports cost look about right to me. Assuming that is for one night only.

Not at all. There's no need for me to leave the country to renew my visa, so in the event they decide not to extend it I am still here with my gear and can make the arrangements to pack it up and ship it or take it elsewhere with me. That's a lot harder to do from the wrong side of a border.
